Oatmeal Penrose Colorado

September 2, 2007

Penrose: A dot on the map on the way to Canon City and the Royal Gorge.

Restaurant: Michelles? Brass Horse? We couldn't be sure of the name of the restaurant.

Oatmeal. $2.75. Raisins. Milk in a stainless pitcher. Unremarkable.

Institutional coffee. Hot and plenty of it.

Very good service from a solicitous waiter.
